WATCH: Police Release Video of Brookhaven Gas Station Robbery

Authorities asking for public's help to track down man who robbed gas station January.

Police are hoping a newly released surveillance video will help find a man who robbed a Brookhaven gas station in January.

Police said the man entered OK Petroleum, located at 2510 Montauk Highway, on Jan. 31 at 7:32 p.m., displayed a handgun and demanded cash from an employee. In the video, the employee can initially be seen attempting to escape out the front door, but the robber chases him and forces him back inside.

The robber fled with money in a vehicle, possibly a two-toned Dodge pickup truck, police said.
