Police Investigating Ronkonkoma Home Invasion

Two men barged in through front door of home and quickly fled.

Suffolk County Police are on the hunt for two suspects that forced their way into a Ronkonkma home and demanded money from residents inside.

Police said they received a 911 call from a resident on Hawkins Avenue on Thursday at around 6 p.m. claiming that two men kicked their front door open and barged into the house, demanding the money.

According to the 911 call, the men were not armed and they shortly fled from the house without any proceeds from the invasion. Police said they sped off in a black Volkswagen Jetta in an unknown direction. Nobody inside the home was injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
