Graf Partners With Super Bowl NYC In Blood Drive

Donate blood at Selden Fire House and earn a chance to score two free tickets to see Super Bowl XLVIII in person.

New York State Assemblyman Al Graf has partnered with the 2013 Super Bowl Host Committee and New York Blood Center to hold a blood drive at the Selden Fire House.

The drive will be held on Wednesday, July 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and all donors will receive a free pair of tickets to a New York Mets game at Citi Field. They will also receive a free raffle entry to win a pair of tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII, when it comes to the Meadowlands in February.

“By donating blood, the life you save could be that of a close friend or family member,” Graf stated in a release. “It is extremely important to bolster Long Island’s blood supply so that we are never left unprepared in times of personal and widespread emergency."

A photo or signature ID is required for all participants. For eligibility questions, please visit www.nybloodcenter.org or call 1-800-688-0900. To make an appointment, contact Graf's office at (631) 585-0230. Walk-ins are also welcome.
