Sachem East Girls Basketball Grabs Top Seed
First round playoff game is set for Monday at 5:45 p.m.
Sachem East girls basketball earned the top seed in the Suffolk County Class AA playoffs, which begin Monday evening.
The Arrows (14-0 League, 17-1 Overall), seeded as the best public school program in New York on many polls, will play the winner of the No. 17 Smithtown West versus No. 16 Hills East outbracket game. That first round game will be held at Sachem East on Monday at 5:45 p.m.
No. 2 Lindenhurst, seemingly Sachem's only threat, is also 14-0 in League II and 17-1 this season. They'll host the winner of the other outbracket game (No. 15 Bellport versus No. 18 Eastport-South Manor) also on Monday.
