Born and Raised here in East Quogue, I graduated from WHBHS as a member of the "Class of 2000" and then hit the road and attended college at Denison Univeristy in central Ohio. I graduated with honors from Dension in 2004 with an interdisciplinary degree in Environmental Studies concentrating in Biology and minoring in Educational Studies. I then spent time working/living in Blue Hill, ME; Savannah, GA; Jacksonville FL; and then up in Washington County ME.
In May 2007, I moved back home to East Quogue to start a new job working for the Town of Southampton Environment Division. A great opportunity, I was able to meet so many people and learn so much more about what makes this area so ecologically impressive.      Perhaps we have met at "the counter" in Town Hall, or on the train platform, commuting between HB and SH while they reconstructed CR39 - "Did YOU ride the TRAIN?"      Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, my position was eliminated from the Town's 2012 Budget. I now find myself, like so many of my neighbors: collecting unemployment, having way too much free time on my hands and far too little gas in my tank/dollars in my bank account.  And so... I sit. I reflect. I ponder. I observe. I listen. I blog.
