Sachem alums come together with fighting legend.
UFC veteran Frank Trigg will be hosting an MMA seminar at Ring Fit in Davie, Fla. on Saturday, February 18 from Noon to 3 p.m. Sachem alum Louis Gregory, aka Uncle Louie in the entertainment world, is presenting the event and the Ring Fit gym is owned and operated by Sachem alum Carmine Tufano. Tufano, a former boxer and current police officer in Florida, grew up as a friend of Gregory from the Sachem community. The event is also spnsored by House of Marley, One Coconut, Riviera Pawn, Swole Sports Nutrition and Baby Fight Gear. Will hit the Carolinas on Friday, December 2 and leave lasting impact.
Louis Gregory is at it again. He’s combined his love of hip hop and contacts in the music industry to create one of the biggest hip hop and R&B bashes in the modern era. “The Platinum Legends of Hip Hop and R&B” concert will be held at the RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C. on Friday, December 2. The event was developed by Gregory, a Sachem alum better known as Uncle Louie in the entertainment world. This is being dubbed as one of the most comprehensive old school hip hop shows ever produced in the United States, according to Uncle Louie. It will consist of artists like Onyx, The Fat Boys, Special Ed, Doug E. Media mogul, former Yankees player engaged in social media strategy.
Louis Gregory, better known as @UncleLouie in the Twitterverse, recently hit another one out of the park when he started working with former New York Yankees player Chuck Knoblauch for the former major league all-star's social media strategy. The two met through Twitter and quickly Knoblauch realized the power of Uncle Louie Management Group as his Twitter followers rose from around 2,000 to more than 17,000 as of late September. Gregory boasts more than 84,600 on his personal account. “It’s been something to occupy my time and make connections with fans,” said Knoblauch, who retired from baseball in 2002 and resides in Houston, “and it seems to be going pretty good. The media mogul will be rolling into Crazy Donkey this June when Onyx, his client, performs.
