Waverly Avenue Elementary School

Built in 1929, the Waverly Avenue School is the oldest building in the Sachem Central School District. It has expanded over the years with the addition of several new wings and more recently, a new main office, nurses' office, library and new kindergarten rooms. Serving students in kindergarten through grade 5, the school community is marked by a caring staff and an active PTA. The Sachem Youth Soccer League calls the fields at Waverly Avenue its home.
