Sachem East, North Football Action

We’ll have a look back at this past weekend’s games as the Sachem East and North Flaming Arrows took the field against divisional opponents. We have photos, some quotes and a clip of the East Arrowettes performing at half time.

No BOE Meeting

The Board of Education does not meet this week. A regularly scheduled meeting is set for next Wednesday, October 9.

Farmingville Hills Chamber Event

The Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event this Wednesday at Astoria Federal Bank in Farmingville. The meetings provide an opportunity to network with other business owners, nonprofits and residents. It begins at 6:30 p.m.

Gatelot Bleachermania

The PTA is holding a School Spirit event with Bleachermania, open to Gatelot Elementary School students as the school prepares of the October 11 homecoming parade. Bleachermania kicks off on Wednesday, October 4 at 3:35 p.m. Admission is $5.

14 Nights Of Fright

It’s time to start thinking Halloween again, and the Farmingville Fire Department is getting everyone in the mood with its “14 Nights of Fright” event, kicking off on Friday, October 6. Go check out this Portion Road substation-turned-haunted house every Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading up to Halloween.
