Sachem to Host Baseball Clinic to Benefit Local Student

East and North varsity, LI Nationals and Ronkonkoma Cardinals all involved.

The Long Island Nationals, Ronkonkoma Cardinals and Sachem East and North varsity baseball teams are teaming up to raise money for Make-A-Wish in honor of a local Sachem student suffering from leukemia.

The clinic is being held Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sachem High School East, according to the Nationals' website.

This event is for athletes between ages 8 and 12 years old and will be run by the coaching staffs of all three participating organizations.

Four members of the Long Island Ducks will attend the clinic, including Ray Navarrete, Matt Esquivel, Matt Padgett and Jamie Quinn.

The Nationals want to remind everyone that all registrations and payments must be received by Aug. 25. For more information, call 631-357-4138.
