Sachem East Teens as Teachers Spreading the Word on Sun Safety and Tobacco Awareness

High school group takes time to preach about harmful affects of dangerous things.

Sachem High School East Teens as Teachers organization set up a display at the Chippewa Elementary School Health Fair last week, cooperating with several community agencies and teaching about sun safety.

The Suffolk County Department of Health and Eastern Suffolk BOCES helped in giving away over 150 hats, UV bracelets, sunscreen and information.

The Sachem East Teens as Teachers also helped The Tobacco Action Coalition by having petition cards signed to remove tobacco products from supermarkets.
