Holbrook Girl Helping with Holiday Food Drive

Earned Girl Scout Turkey Harvest Badge for successful volunteerism.

The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County,  Bethpage Federal Credit Union, and Island Harvest have teamed up to collect food for local low income families this holiday season.

Holbrook's Jenna Collins from Brownie Troop 647 decided to walk around the neighborhood asking the community for canned foods.

She has now earned her Turkey Harvest Badge in keeping with the Girl Scout motto to "make the world a better place".

"We are so proud of her," said mom Kathy Collins.
