Comedian To Make Appearance, Bring Cheer To Holbrook Senior Center

When he's not battling it out in the courtroom, Jonathan Evan Goldberg is bringing laughter and good cheer to senior all over the tri-state area, and now he'll be appearing in Holbrook.

Goldberg, a litigation lawyer at the firm SNR Denton in New York City, will be performing at the Sunrise Holbrook Senior Living Center on Saturday as part of his regular charity work. Goldberg founded Cherub Improv, a nonprofit organization that brings improv comedy to hospitals, senior homes, veterans centers and homeless outreach programs, to name a few. Goldberg gets the audience involved and shows them how to laugh, build confidence and boost the spirits at their age.

To date, Cherub Improv has grown to more than 100 comic volunteers, covering New York City, New Jersey, Long Island and the Hamptons in more than 35 different facilities.

On Saturday, seniors living at the Holbrook center will get their chance to laugh and celebrate the healing powers of humor.
