MEDFORD, NY  – An adult pajama party held over the weekend at Krazy Kidz (an "entertainment center" like Chuck E. Cheese's) has parents furious after photos of naked people on a dance floor inside the children's entertainment center were posted online.

A flyer for the party, which ran until 3 a.m., was posted on meetup.com and was billed as a "Jungle Gym & Pajama Party All-Night Dance Party: For Grownups Who Won't Grow Up." It was said to include pillow fights, crazy maze races, a Twister contest and body painters.

"There will be no orgy, smut, strippers, or sexually lewd content....however...there will be tasteful nudity," the flyer reads.

"Absolutely no cameras allowed," the flyer says, but some party-goers apparently didn't not obey that rule as photos from the party at the Horseblock Road facility leaked online. One of them shows two scantily clad women inside a jungle gym. Another shows a man and woman apparently fully nude on a dance floor.

"I think it is disgusting for a children's play area to be used for anything but a children's area," said Allison B., of Farmingville. "I've seen the clearly nude photos and read the invite including warm jello wrestling. My kids will definitely not be going here again."

Krazy Kidz responded to the controversy on its Facebook page Tuesday morning.

"In order to help meet regular expenses the facility was rented to a private group for a benefit costume party," a post reads. "The photo in question actually shows a person in the background wearing a body stocking Eve costume. This event was no different that an ordinary Halloween party that you would hold at your home. As always, that facility has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with a fogging spray and we continue to pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our facility."

The company said no staff from Krazy Kidz was involved in the event and its "private party facility rental policy is currently under review to prevent any such misunderstandings from occurring in the future."

Krazy Kidz said it would be closed on Tuesday for additional cleaning and sanitizing "to further restore the public's trust."

"The staff at Krazy Kidz continues to apologize for the obvious lack of judgment that has resulted in everyone's concerns and comments," another Facebook post reads.

Melissa Webster, of Holbrook, told Patch she didn't have a problem with the type of adult party that was held, but that the venue was not appropriate.

"I would never bring my children to a place that would use a children's facility for adult entertainment," Webster said. "The icing on the cake for us parents, is Krazy Kidz's response. They claim to not know anything about the nudity or type of party being held. Where is their common sense?"

Come on Jordan and Mac... how do you manage to make EVERYTHING in life political? The pressure you must feel is frightening.
Jordan S. Zoot February 07, 2014 at 04:23 PM
Sandra....its nothing that can't be fixed with an enema :)
Grumpy Old Man February 07, 2014 at 04:25 PM
Sandra - Jordan and Mac's comments are the only thing worth reading in this whole idiotic post!
Jordan S. Zoot February 07, 2014 at 04:33 PM
Thanks Grumpy...we try.
Mac February 07, 2014 at 05:53 PM
no Sandra, no pressure from the humor of political life - just enjoying the most expensive non-ending form of entertainment we have in America today - the pressure comes from the number of people I'm responsible for employing - I mean, I know of the two helicopter drone operators and their support staff, the six NAS monitors, the six ISP guys born to faithfully serve our local GOP leadership (at least until under indictment), and a handful of guys moving orange cones around wherever I go, so I try to remain worthy enough to keep them employed - and imagine the ones I don't know about because our Governor is no longer talking to us while chewing his gum - I think an enema might help set him straight though - to Grumpy, I second Jordan's emotion

Ryan, Since when are our local stories spewed to other states? And if your news organization has started doing this, why is it with such a banal story? How about the rash of armed robberies?
Laura Kean Anes February 07, 2014 at 07:54 PM
The new Patch format sucks. Big time. Firing all the local editors - what a brilliant idea.

It sounds as if the real wild party went on in the parent's own dirty minds.
Klediss February 08, 2014 at 08:31 AM
dang I missed the memo on this one, I missed the Hard hitting action and Raised action. I'm sure there were Fun bags of frivolity, titillating scenes of absolute grotesque fun, jammy jumping, . I heard they read from the vagina chronicles. man what a party it must have been , oh well next time ,

I, too, was duped into thinking that this was a 'local' news article and wanted to see where it was located. way northeast and not in Georgia. But, I would make several remarks/comments about several of the other comments posted. Infants and young children need to snot and drool amongst themselves and their immediate caregivers--whether family or screened daycare providers--because they (child) are building new immune systems in order to be safe as they travel through their lives. Stop and think about how my generation (those born in the1940s) doesn't seen to get ill as often as the parents of the children that would be using that 'kids center' today. Our mothers let us play outside, in the dirt and all, and actually let fresh air into our homes because air conditioning was not invented yet. We had well developed immune systems. Then we get to the dangly parts being exposed. If a group of strangers responded to the and removed their clothes easily, they most likely have done that before. If the flyer was really just a ruse and the party was for a specific group, then they, too, had most likely done that before. If you are willing to take off your clothes, you will take off your socks, too, because otherwise adults look really funny with them on. Now visualize the feet that you have seen in the locker rooms in the clubs to which you belong. Eeuuw! Now visualize this whole group running around in the maze, gaming area, and ball pit in a 'kids facility' that is most likely a "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service" facility during regular working hours. Hard surfaced floor, or carpeted? Will a fumed sanitizer get to the balls that are not in the top layer? Where did the feet go in the pit? I am reading this Patch article from Suwanee, GA. When my grand-daughter attended day care in this town, I used to watch her classroom for hours using the day care's internet connection. When the kids lay down for their naps, one of the caregivers went around and cleaned every toy. I would watch her take every ball out of the ball pit, which was small because it was in the crawlers/new walkers room, and wipe each ball with the leaning cloth before replacing it into the pit. Do you think that was done at the facility in the above article?

Could they possibly have been more unsanitary than the 100 little germ sponges who smear all that equipment all day long? Sounds like a fun party, but had I been attending I would have demanded that the organizers sanitize the place first.

These parents should never stay with their kids in hotel rooms, no matter how expensive. I hear that all kinds of things go on in those rooms.
sonia stewart February 09, 2014 at 09:53 AM
This is not "enforced" reading and I'm not paying to subscribe. I don't understand why so many people are complaining about the stories.
chris February 10, 2014 at 01:03 AM
Why am I seeing this, this has nothing to do with my hometown. Stop it with the generic articles.
Hamburger February 10, 2014 at 06:53 AM
Nobody should be at all concerned as long as the proprietors can ensure that all the balls are thoroughly washed and sterilized
JackU February 10, 2014 at 07:23 AM
This is what liberals have brought us. Gay orgies at children's events centers.
Mac February 10, 2014 at 09:36 AM
@JackU - good thing we have liberals - otherwise conservatives would never get a chance to come out of the closet and whine in the sunlight
Hamburger February 10, 2014 at 11:33 AM
These were not gay orgies. They were hetero orgies. This is nothing a black light wouldn't solve.
NicDra February 10, 2014 at 12:05 PM
Really people? WHO CARES? This is the most ridiculous thing to have a controversy about. Do you allow your kids to lay in the bed that you have sex in? Lighten up and let grown ups have fun too. These people are not going to die of a stress induced heart attack like the all the uptight naysayers.
David Jeanes February 10, 2014 at 12:53 PM
The people that are outraged over this are sicker than the ones that had some adult fun in a children's area, with no kids around. Lighten up, these were consenting adults, and no kids were involved. I am a lot more concerned over the TV shows that have constant sexual innuendo, that are easily seen by kids. Stop the hypocrisy.
Jordan S. Zoot February 10, 2014 at 01:17 PM
Hamburger These were not gay orgies. They were hetero orgies. This is nothing a black light wouldn't solve........REALLY WOULD IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE YOU HOMOPHOBIC POS....ME THINKS HE DOETH PROTEST TOO MUCH.
Sandy Murphey February 10, 2014 at 02:20 PM
It's interesting to see what stories get people's attention, and the time it takes to write a comment. If only we could be as involved in real issues that involve children Like not having enough money in their school lunch account, and not being able to eat the one meal a day they might get Or helping to catch internet pedophiles, with the new sting operation called "Sweetie". If you really care about children, sign the petition that has been very successful in catching online pedophiles that prey on young girls. Stand for what you really care about...protecting children, from real harm!!!
Mac February 10, 2014 at 04:28 PM
well Sandy, I think you may have found that magic 'off' button for this article - bummer
OC4EVER February 10, 2014 at 07:31 PM
I agree with a lot of the posters here. ths appeared in the ocean city patch. I thought I was reading nj.com. The new patch sucks.
Sandy Murphey February 10, 2014 at 09:07 PM
Gee Mac, I didn't think I had that kind of power, and see the beat goes on. Now, I wonder which Patch has the juiciest headlines. I wonder if they have a contest for the editors whose stories get the most comments. This was kind of a deceptive title, but it sure got a lot of attention. Nudity anywhere always does. If that was the worst of our social problems, we'd be in much better shape. (no pun intended)
keith February 11, 2014 at 04:50 AM
This is not a local story. Plus why is the Patch participating in trying to ruin somebody's business?
Mac February 11, 2014 at 10:09 AM
@Sandy Murphey - ah, the power :-)
Mac February 11, 2014 at 10:41 AM
has Krazy Kidz been contacted by that small church in Fredericksburg, Va. (Patch) that is looking for a new chapel yet? – this church group worships in the nude and the members like to hang around after the sermons to bask in the afterglow of the mind-set these blessed values provide for this little congregation of up and coming god-fearing saints – this church is very into worshipping properly sanitized balls for sure – this could be a match made in heaven for both Sachem and Fredericksburg - amen

I have to laugh when reading this! Parents upset that adults are in the children's play area! Humm do you take your kids to hotels? I can be upset about kids being in pools we all know what the little disgusting critters do in there! Pee and god knows what else., Kids spread more germs, colds and ailments then anyone else, they are dirty. I'm shocked that the party goers didn't catch anything from being in the play area!
Evelyn March 06, 2014 at 08:36 AM
i actually dont mind reading what goes on in other places, but yes if you are expecting local stuff and get another towns stuff, could be irritating. i like knowing what goes in elsewhere though, especially if it makes your little hamlet seem less weird, lol :)
