Photo: A Ronkonkoma FD's Eye View

This bird's-eye view of the Ronkonkoma Street Fair last Sunday was sent in to us by Mike Iannuzi, 3rd assistant chief of the Ronkonkoma Fire Department.

The photo was taken from the bucket of tower ladder 5-24-11, which was positioned at the north end of the fair at the intersection of Hawkins Avenue and Portion Road.

From that height it looks like a quiet, sleepy affair, compared to the thousands that packed the street from end to end. It's a rare view most of us never get a chance to see. Until now.
