Week 1 Preview: Sachem North at Bay Shore

Flaming Arrows open season on the road at formidable opponent.

Bay Shore may be seeded No. 8 to open the season, but they will be much stronger than that. And that's the reason Sachem coach Dave Falco has some trepidations heading into Saturday's contest.

“They had a great summer in their off-season program, people at scrimmages said they are an excellent team,” Falco said. “We’re expecting a very tough game. We’re going to have to weather the storm early.”

Falco offered three tasks his team needs to execute to be successful: Don’t turn the ball over, limit penalties and play well on special teams.
