Watch Keith Kinkaid Make Dramatic Save

Sachem Class of 2007 alum makes dazzling one-on-one stop of Tampa Bay Lightning's Steven Stamkos.

During Sachem alum Keith Kinkaid's backup goaltending performance on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Kinkaid recorded a save reminiscent of the goalie he was filling in for: the injured first-ballot Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur.

The play came early in the 3rd period with the score 3-0 in favor of Tampa Bay. Lightning's Steven Stamkos took the puck off of Adam Larson's stick and streaked up the nearside boards for a chance at a one-on-one against Kinkaid. He crossed over the crease and tried to tuck the shot under Kinkaid's left leg, but Kinkaid would have none of it.

The crowd erupted at the difficult save and announcers gushed over Kinkaid's fundamentals. The save earned a spot on the highlight reel of NHL's official YouTube account. Click on the embedded video and see for yourself.
