Sachem alum Mike Parisi (Class of 2001) was released by the Chicago Cubs after last season and is back on Long Island pitching for the Ducks.
Through last weekend, he is 2-0 with a 1.39 ERA and 13 strikeouts.
Sachem Patch caught up with Parisi over the weekend at Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip. He's excited to pitch close to home, but is eagerly awaiting a chance to make it back to the big leagues and bounce back after two surgeries.
