The Sachem 12-year-old Warriors took it on the road for a second straight week and defeated Riverhead by a score of 27-0. The defense was the story of the day with defensive ends Ryan Vahey and Nolan Quilan dominating the line of scrimmage all day.

After a blocked punt by Robert Norelious, the offense quickly went to work, with Dylan Laube scoring the first of his three touchdowns on the day. On the ensuing Riverhead drive, the defense again shut them down. Laube scored his second touchdown on a 40 yard run behind outstanding blocking from Kevin Noonan, Anthony Locascio , Mike Chapparo, Devin Perez and Robert Norelious.

Marc Cirelli made two big tackles on Riverhead's next possession and the rest of the Joe Martinez ,Mike Palermo, Danny Coffey and Eddie Sorrentino defense continued the assault on Riverhead's offense, getting the Warriors the ball back with two minutes to go in the half.
