Town of Islip Hosting Lacrosse Clinic

Suffolk Hall of Famer Ray Mills offering guidance in skill areas.

The Town of Islip announced this week that the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs will be offering lacrosse clinics for boys and girls 6-18 years old.

The clinics will be coached by Ray Mills, a Suffolk County Hall of Famer and Division I All-American Lacrosse Player. Participants can take all four to become a complete player or select the areas of their game in which they would like to improve.

The clinics are one hour each and are $50 per session. Each clinic is limited to ten players grouped by age and is located at Town Hall West, located on 401 Main Street in Islip. Players must have all the required equipment to participate. The Town of Islip does not supply any equipment.

Participants must complete a registration form and mail with payment to Attn: Sports Office, Brookwood Hall, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip, NY 11730. Checks must be made payable to the Town of Islip.
