Section XI Playoff Brackets Released
Soccer and field hockey teams start post-season this weekend.
Suffolk County athletics released some of the fall playoff sections today. Varsity teams from Sachem East and North's girls soccer and field hockey programs will pick up playoff action as early as this weekend.
Girls Soccer
Sachem East: The Arrows grabbed the top-seed and receive a first round bye. They will host Whitman Saturday afternoon.

Sachem North: No. 12 Sachem will travel to No. 5 West Islip, Saturday, Oct. 30 at noon.
Field Hockey

Sachem East: No. 3 Sachem grabbed a first round bye. It will play No. 6 Bay Shore, Thursday, Nov. 4 at 2:30 p.m.
Sachem North: No. 8 Sachem will host No. 9 Connetquot, Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m. The winner will travel to No. 1 Ward Melville, Thursday, Nov. 4 at 2:30 p.m.
Notes
-Sachem East and North boys soccer did not make the playoffs.
-The boys and girls volleyball teams are still playing in their regular seasons, so the playoff schedules have not been released yet.
-Sachem North football finishes its regular season Saturday and the playoff brackets will be released that night or the following morning.
