Sachem Speed Capture Long Island Junior Soccer Crown

The Sachem Speed capped off an undefeated season by beating The Dix Hills Lightning 6-1. The Speed, with a record of 9-0, were crowned Long Island Junior Soccer League Girls u10 Division 2 Champions!

The Speed played hard week in and week out and finished up the season with an impressive 39 goals scored while only allowing 4 against.

"The girls really came together as a team, playing unselfish soccer all year, everyone contributed whether it was scoring, passing, playing tough defense or goaltending." said Coach Rob Rinfret.

The Speed, who will be moving up to Division 1 in the fall, have added two strong new players this off-season and look forward to the challenge of the fall season.
