Sachem's Donnelly Scores Winning Goal for Suffolk All-Stars

Helps Suffolk beat Hudson Valley All-Star team.

In a showdown between the Suffolk County High School Hockey League (SCHSHL) All-stars and Hudson Valley's All-Stars, which took place this past Friday at The Rinx in Hauppauge, Sachem's Robbie scored the fifth and game winning goal of the game.

In a back-and-forth battle, which showed lots of hitting and players going strong to the puck, and the lead being switched several times, the SCHSHL all-stars finally got a string of goals put together to secure the victory.

"Donnelly did everything like he does during our regular season games," said Sachem coach Al Posillico. "He was out killing penalties, got some power
play time, assisted on the third goal and even got the winner, just another typical Robbie night."

Donnelly was one of four Sachem players selected to the all-star team, but was the only one to play in the game. Posillico said he hopes to have the other three Sachem players (Chris Chizzoniti -sick, Alex Posillico -injured, and Brandon Bassett -away with travel hockey) in the lineup next Friday when the SCHSHL all-stars travel to Hudson Valley for game two of the two game series.
