Sachem Patch Youth Sports Notebook

After a successful undefeated season, winning the Top Division in their age group, the Sachem Travel 10 football club succumbed to the bite of the Sharks in a 14-0 upset in the Suffolk County Championship last weekend.

"It was disappointing to see our team, who worked so hard all year individually and as a unit, not to have their best game when it counted most," one parent said. "I know this will stay with many of them for a long time, and will provide motivation in the off season to try even harder next year."

As much as Sachem Patch loves to cover varsity sports, youth leagues are important too. It's easier if parents and coaches submit photos and information, because with the amount of youth leagues in Sachem it's tough to cover it all.
