Sachem Patch Athletes of the Week: May 15
A weekly spotlight on the best of the best in Sachem.
The following athletes had exceptional weeks on the field at Sachem High Schools East and North:
Sachem East: Jason and Dylan Quintana ... The brothers won their first round doubles matches at the county finals and automatically qualify as All-State selections. Their semifinal match will be played Monday versus The Ross School's Rein and Lee. They are the first Sachem East tennis players to not only win at the county tournament, but also the first Sachem East tennis players to earn All-State honors.
Sachem North: Tim Lang ... The senior scored a career-high nine points (6g, 3a) in an 18-4 win over Northport Friday and added another four goals and three assists in a 20-9 win over Bay Shore on Saturday. Lang's senior leadership and consistent play has helped Sachem play the way it has this season.
