Sachem North has announced its captains for the 2010 football season: Michael Andreassi, Angelo Armine, Tim Lang, Michael McCarthy and Jesse Scanna.

Interesting fact: Bellport head coach Joe Cipp Jr. is a Sachem graduate and played three years of varsity football under Sachem's first coach Kiernan Lawlor from 1963-1965.

"Joe is a hall of fame coach with great tradition and a great program," said North head coach Dave Falco. "When you go there, his team is prepared. Playing against Joe is a challenge. He's looking at Sahcem as an alum to see how we're doing."
