Sachem North Lax Senior Signs To NYIT
Senior midfielder is the second Sachem North senior to commit to the college.
Sachem North senior midfielder Justin Smith is signing to NYIT.
According to an announcement posted on LaxLessons.com, the lacrosse player gave commitment to the college Monday. Smith is the second Sachem North student to head to the school along with midfielder Jake Slater, the announcement said.
In a Q&A with Smith on the commitment, he said that the school would allow him to make an immediate impact.
"I wanted to go to a school where I think I can make an impact right away and have a chance to win a championship," Smith said in the announcement.
