The Sachem North JV cheerleading squad captured a LICCA Long Island Cheerleading Championship Sunday.
They won first or second place at all six of their competitions this season.
On Jan. 22 Sachem North hosted a competition where the JV team not only won first place but received the coveted title of Grand Champs by receiving the highest score of the day and then followed that performance with Sunday's dominating outing, winning a title for the fourth time in five years.
