Sachem North Announces Football Recruits

Cortland will have Black & Gold all over.

Always a hot bed for Sachem football talent, Cortland will add four more Arrows players to its roster in 2011.

Jesse Scanna, James Thompson, Mike McCarthy and Alex Katos will play for the Red Dragons.

Scanna, a Hansen hopeful for most of the 2010 season, was an MVP for Sachem last fall. Thompson was one of the best linemen in Suffolk County. McCarthy became a valuable defensive asset. Katos was a sturdy defensive back.
