Sachem Girls Field Hockey to Play for Breast Cancer Awareness
Rivalry game turned charitable event between Sachem schools.
Friday's cross-town field hockey rivalry game between Sachem East and Sachem North will be a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness.
Both etams will be wearing pick and all money collected at the door and concession stands will be donated jointly by the sister schools to breast cancer research and awareness.
Gametime is 3:30 p.m. at Sachem North.

Sachem East comes into the game with a 13-0 record as the top team in Suffolk County and arguably the top team in New York State in terms of strength of schedule and quality of opponents. Sachem North is 2-11 overall.
