Sachem Football Players to Perform at Combine
Top athletes advance to event at Carrier Dome in June.
Sachem football players will take part in the Blue Chip Prospects football combine May 1 at Half Hollow Hills West.
Sachem North freshman Trent Crossan and sophomore Tyler Andreassi will put their skills to the test in an NFL-style combine.
They will test their strength with the 185-pound bench press, their speed with a 40-yard dash and agility and jumping with the vertical and long jumps.

The combine is open to all Nassau and Suffolk County high school football players in grades nine through 12.
“The Blue Chip combine is a great opportunity for our kids to see how they do against the other kids in the county and the state who play football,” said Sachem North football coach Dave Falco. “Our kids have been working hard since January getting themselves ready for football and this gives them an opportunity to see how their work has paid off.”

The top finishers from the showcase are invited to a combine the same day as the Empower Upstate-Downstate Football Classic June 6 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. North's Jesse Scanna and James Thompson will compete in the classic this year.
Sachem East football coach Mark Wojciechowski said Stephen Casali will also participate at the combine.
