Sachem East Volleyball Upsets North, 3-1, At Semifinal
East will play for Class A championship against Lindenhurst Thursday.
Sachem East's varsity volleyball team is heading to the county playoffs after upsetting Sachem North 3-1 Monday night at the latter's school in Lake Ronkonkoma, who until this game had an undefeated 15-0 record.
According to Sachem Report, East will now play for a Class A championship against Lindenhurst on Thursday at Westhampton High School at 6:30 p.m. During the game Sean Harrington recorded 13 kills and 22 digs, Ryan Cole had 23 kills and three blocks and Tyloer Jones had 21 assists and 13 digs.
Sachem North finishes the season 15-1 and most of its team will return next year.
