On Tuesday, Sachem East boys lacrosse lost its opener to Bayport-Blue Point, 14-7.
Sachem hung in there for three quarters, but Bayport turned it up in the fourth. Scoring for Sachem was DeBenedictis 1g, Eiseman 1g/3a, Engelken 2g, Buencamino 1g, MacAneney 1g/1a, Foster 1a and Vigh 1g.
On Friday, Sachem lost to Eastport-South Manor (ESM), 9-5. ESM outscored East 5-0 in the 2nd. Scoring for Sachem was Buencamino 3g, Debenedictis 1g/1a, Solomito 1g, Neubert 1a and Foster 1a.

On Saturday, Sachem will play is at the Bellport Tournament to battle cancer and benefit the Headstrong Foundation. Sachem raised $2,800 for the Headstrong. Game times are set for 11:00 a.m., Noon and 1:00 p.m.
