Sachem East Girls Soccer Schedule Revealed

The Sachem East Girls Soccer team will open its Fall 2012 campaign on the road against Center Moriches on September 5. According to SectionXI, the organization that oversees school sports in Suffolk County, the Flaming Arrows won't be home until the fourth game of the season, when they take on Brentwood on September 13.

Last year, East grabbed the 13th seed in Class AA and defeated 20th seeded Eastport-South Manor in an out-bracket playoff game before losing to No. 4 seed West Islip, 2-0. East had beaten West Islip toward the tail-end of the regular season last year, but came up short in the rematch.

They'll avoid West Islip this year, instead facing Kings Park on September 27. The season ends at home on October 23 when they host William Floyd. Click through the photo gallery of this story for a look at the complete schedule.
