Sachem alum Joe Iannello competed in his first New York City Marathon Sunday.
He ran the race in 4 hours and 39 minutes.
Iannello, who graduated from Sachem in 2003, ran track, wrestled and played football at Sachem.

He is the older brother of Sachem alums Anthony, an assistant lacrosse coach at Wagner, and Nicholas Iannello, a freshman lacrosse player at Elizabethtown.
