Revolution Athletics Helping with Lax for Hope

Local athletic training company supports Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Earlier this month, Revolution Athletics had the honor of being apart of the Lax For Hope event.

Lax for Hope was established to obtain the resources to help with funding for non-profit organizations dedicated to helping the Breast Cancer Coalition of Long Island and other organizations with similar efforts.

They hold an annual fundraising lacrosse tournament at St. John University's Oakdale Campus.

Fifty girl lacrosse teams from across the island came together for the chance to play in the tournament.

Revolution Athletics, a facility where many Sachem athletes train, is a school for athletes to work on their speed, strength, and agility for better performance in sports. It is making an effort to raise money for Lax for Hope and the coalitions involved.

Currently they are holding a raffle were three baskets will be presented to the winners on Nov. 1 and will also be giving a portion of their sales from the month of October to Lax for hope.
