Sachem East girls finish season with NYS appearances.
At this past weekend's New York State girl's track and field championships, Rachel Paul, Lisa Luchsinger, and Melanie Notarstefano all competed for Sachem High School East.
Paul placed sixthin the NYS Federation (Combined Division I, II, and Catholic Schools) 800-meter (2:12.58) and 10th in the Federation 1,500-meter (4:35.95). Her sixth place performance earned her All-State honors in the 800-meter.
Luchsinger placed seventh in the Division I 100-meter race (12.55).
