Sachem East Boys Tennis: All three top seeds, Jason Quintana, Zach Cooper and Dylan Quintana each advanced at the division tournament. Jason and Cooper had an easier time and Dylan pulled it out in straight sets against a very good opponent who played his heart out, according to coach Stefano Massimo. It was a tough day for East though as it lost Alex Rosenfield in the first round, and both doubles teams. Additya Ramesh and Nick Auffret lost a tough three-setter, and Kunal Parikh and Neil Amin had to pull out due to injury.
Sachem East Softball: Sachem 4, Lindenhurst 0 ... Amber O'Malley was 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead East (12-4). Lindsey Treanor got the win on the mound.
