Sachem North Boys Lacrosse: Sachem 7, East Islip 6 (OT) ... The Phil Schaefer-Michael Andreassi connection was clicking again Tuesday. Andreassi dished a pass to Schaefer, who scored with two minutes left in overtime to give North a Division I win. North is now 6-1 in league play. Ted Matos made 20 saves in net. Andreassi tied the game with 1:55 left. Players recording points: Phil Schaefer (2g, 1a), Jake Cabble (1g, 1a), Tim Lang (1g), Cody Ciolino (1g), Cody Petillo (1 g), Michael Andreassi (1g, 2a) and Jack Gannon (1a).

Sachem East Boys Lacrosse: Sachem 12, West Babylon 5 ... Pete Lacagnina scored four goals and Cameron Walsh had five points (3g) to lead East (5-2) in Division I. Craig Goodermote made nine saves. Players recording points for East: Pete Lacagnina (4g), Cameron Walsh (3g, 2a), Garrett Smith (2g, 3a), D.J. Morahan (2g), Eric Martin (1g), Matt Chapman (1a) and Dan Grebe (1a).

Sachem North Boys Golf: Sachem 7, Hauppague 2 ... Michael Ortiz and Chris Roden each shot a 8-over-par-43 at Middle Island to lead the Flaming Arrows. North is now 8-2 and close to being a county championship team. Kings Park is the only obstacle in Sachem's way. "This is all happening without the player William Rosati who has only participated in the first three matches," said coach Anthony Falco. "He has a bad case of tendonitous and might be out for the season." Sophomore Matt Adwar has stepped up into the top six and is turning in low scores to help the team win. On Wednesday North will be without Roden, its No. 5 golfer, who will be on college visit. Sachem plays Middle Country at Mill Pond.

Sachem North Girls Track: Sachem 105, Commack 45 ...  Mia Carroll won the discus with a career-high 100-3 for North (3-1). Joanna Staniewski won the shotput with a career-high 31-9.5.

Sachem East Girls Track: Sachem 83, Longwood 67 ... Purdue bound Lisa Luchsinger won the triple jump (33-2 1/2), 200-meters (26.2) and long jump (17-11) to lead East.
