Sachem East Girls Track & Field: Even while the team was missing most of its seniors due to the senior trip, and many of the juniors due to the ACT's, the Sachem East girls varsity track & field team had an impressive showing at the Suffolk Coaches Invitational at Bay Shore High School. Some performances to highlight include:
- Brittany Sepe - 1st place in the Open Shot Put (34'5'') and 1st place in the Open Discus (98'9'')
- Alyssa Genduso - 1st place in the Intermediate High Jump (5'1'',) which would've defeated the Open competitors as well.
- Gabby Trejo - 1st place in the Frosh/Soph section of the Shot Put (33'11'')
- Amanda Zaput - 1st place in the Frosh/Soph section of the Pole Vault (8'6'')
- The 4x800 Racewalk relay team of Amanda Catherall, Holly Lindoe, Sarah LaPorta, and Kelly Maranchuk placed 1st in a time of 16:37.1.
- Amanda Catherall - 2nd place in the Open 1500m Racewalk (7:38.7)
- Amanda Alfano - 2nd place in the Intermediate High Jump (4'8'')
- Amanda DiSalvo - 2nd place in the Frosh/Soph section of the 400m Dash (64.6)
- Essence Sterling - 2nd place in the Frosh/Soph section of the 100m Dash (13.1)
- Allyson Figalora - 2nd place in the Frosh/Soph section of the 400m Hurdles (72.7)
- Stephanie Curtin - 2nd place in the Frosh/Soph section of the Pole Vault (8'0'')
- The Open 4x100m relay team of Ebonie Lewis, Amanda DiSalvo, Essence Sterling, and Alyssa Genduso placed 2nd in a time of 51.5
