POLL Results: 1983 Team Voted Best of All-Time
Community votes and margin was close all around.
More than 200 people voted in the Sachem Patch poll asking which is the best Sachem football team of all-time and the results are in: the 1983 team wins the vote.
Sachem's 1983 squad finished 9-0-1 as the only undefeated team in the program's 50-year history. It beat East Islip in the Suffolk County championship that season.
