On Sunday afternoon at Kenneth LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook the Sachem North Flaming Arrows defeated the William Floyd Colonials 28-7 to capture the 2013 Suffolk County Division I title. It was the first county championship for Sachem since 1995 and it was accomplished off the back of a Floyd team that has given the Arrows nothing but heartbreak for years.
