Sachem Hockey Hosts Alumni Game at The Rinx
Many faces from the history of the program came out for a fun event.
The Sachem Hockey program held its annual Alumni Night this week at The Rinx in Happauge, N.Y.
There were attendees ranging from 1977-2011. The Arrows (the elder statesmen) were coached by John Rizzo and Anthony Fronzoni, parents of our cherished members Michael Rizzo and Anthony Fronzoni who passed away and whose jerseys No. 12 and No. 22 are retired.
Former captain Harry Curran proudly wore Fronzoni's jersey while Artie Weingartner wore No. 22 honoring Michael Rizzo.

The elder group made their annual trek to Bruno's in Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y. with their families afterward for pizza, beer and wings.
"All appreciated the efforts of the board and curent members for running this event and keeping all alumni a close knit fraternity," said Sachem Hockey President Neal Greenburg.Â
