Two girls from Sachem East competed in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, N.C. this past weekend.
Rachel Paul, a junior, placed 11th in the mile. She ran it in 4:52.71.
Brittany Christiansen, who will attend Slippery Rock University, competed in the shot put and hammer throw, but did not place.
