North's Schaefer Commits to Dowling for Lax
Will stay local and join two Sachem North alums at Division II school.
That’s another for Sachem North.
Danny Schaefer became the fourth member of the Flaming Arrows lacrosse team to commit to play at the next level.
Schaefer will play at Dowling College.

“We are excited for Danny,” Sachem coach Jay Mauro said. “He is a great kid with an excellent work ethic. We look forward to Danny taking his game to the next level.”
Schaefer is joined by teammates Cody Petillo (Rutgers), Jack Gannon (UMBC) and Eric Talbot (NYIT) to play at the next level.

Schaefer will play with North alums Billy Richardson and James Kenny at Division II Dowling, which competes in the East Coast Conference.
