North Boys Track Wins Middle Country Relays
Ryan Sampson voted outstanding field event performer.
The Sachem North boys track and field team won the Middle Country Relays with 135 points Saturday afternoon. North finished ahead of Middle Country (115), Brentwood, Huntington and North Babylon.
Ryan Sampson was voted the Outstanding Field Event Performer by winning the shot put (45' 6") and discus (122' 9")
Eric Yesalonis and Zack Coleman won pole vault (18'). Sampson, Doug Cornell and Bryan Fitzpatrick did outstanding in the shot put (136' 8").

The 4x400-meter relay of Joe Johnson, Chris Weilbacher, Tim Randazzo and Davon Christopher (3:34.9) won.
The 4x1, 1-mile relay of John McNeece, Mike Loschiavo, Brendon Hayes and Greg Coleman (21:02.6) won.

The Sophomore 4x400-meter relay of Luke Daily, Colin Eberhardt, John Fitzpatrick and Chris Parisi (4:19.2) also won.
The boys run next on Tuesday against a much-improved Lindenhurst team.
