Lucas Brum Wins East MVP Award, Joe Ryan Grabs Golden Helmet
Over 200 attend East football breakfast; players honored with awards.
At this year's annual Sachem East football awards breakfast, Lucas Brum was honored as the team's MVP, while quarterback Kyle Starke won the offensive MVP honor and Joe Ryan was selected as the Golden Helmet winner.
Over 200 patrons gathered for the event at Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook.

- Hustle Award: James Hockenjos
- Gold Helmet Award: Joe Ryan
- Michael Mignone Outstanding Lineman Award: Joey Mignone ... Mike Mignone played for Sachem in the 1980's and has since passed away. Joey Mignone is his nephew.
- Most Improved Players: Greg Markfelder, Derek Rodda, Anthony Kmiotek
- Golden 11 Award: Lucas Brum
