John Vigh Commits to Marist for Lacrosse

Sachem East junior John Vigh has verbally committed to play lacrosse at Marist.

Vigh, who chose the school for its business program, will join Sachem East alum Craig Goodermote, who is a sophomore goalie with the Red Foxes.

Marist plays in the MAAC and finished 8-7 last season.

Vigh is the second player from the Sachem East boy’s lacrosse team to commit from the Class of 2013. He joins teammate , who committed to Delaware last year.

Another draw for Vigh in his commitment was the proximity to Long Island.

“It's not too far from home, so my parents could come watch my games,” he said.
