The Cheerleader For A Day Fundraiser was held last weekend by the Sachem East and Sachem North varsity cheerleading teams at Sachem East.
The two teams put their competitive nature aside and came together to teach the youth of the Sachem community about the sport they all love and take pride in.
"As coaches it was amazing to watch our teams blend so nicely into one Sachem cheerleading program," said North coach Elizabeth Schlitt. "The girls worked so well together and the talent they exhibited was amazing. We were very proud of them."
