Four Sachem Football Players Selected All-State

Four football players from Sachem North earned All-State honors as selected by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Senior Jesse Scanna was selected to the First Team as a linebacker, while senior Michael Andreassi was selected Second Team as a linebacker, junior Dalton Crossan was selected sixth team as a defensive back and senior James Thompson was selected sixth team as a lineman.

This is the most selections Sachem has had in a number of years. Prior to Davon Lawrence and Joe Kirchner being selected All-State in 2009, there was a brief lull.
