Long Island Photowalk Heads to Greenport

Date & Time: Saturday, March 5, 2011, 2:30 p.m.

Meeting place:

Purpose: To bring together photographers and those who enjoy walking outside and/or learning more about photography, for a pleasurable afternoon exploring one of Long Island's gems.  Greenport has served in colonial era as a major New England port facility due to the depth of Sterling Harbor.  Enjoy the historic architecture and the sea breeze. While the walk itself will be approx. two hours in length, optional sunset shooting will also take place at Inlet Pond County Park on Long Island Sound – directions to Inlet Pond will be provided. It does not matter what camera you have: point-and-shoot, Digital SLR, Film SLR, phone cameras - all ages and abilities are welcome.  For latest updates, visit the Long Island Photowalk bulletin board on Flickr. We will be meeting up in the Starbucks, 110 Front Street, Greenport.
